Talent can be found online, a place where people consume certain types of content more than others, and voice their professional concerns. Our primary aim is to gauge their expectations, and create a map of key influencers. It's a question of understanding what promising individuals - be they medical, engineering, programming or finance students - think, and what media they consume.

This analysis of digital communities is completed through an Opinion360 study, to reinforce the results of offline qualitative analysis of digital opinion, such as focus groups and surveys. This ensures a proper understanding of the target community and talent.

CUSTOMER-FOCUSED SERVICE

An international hotel chain wanted to identify the sites, social networks, and forums where young professionals (front of house staff, maîtres d’hôtel, chefs, etc.) spent their time. The aim: to gain a more in-depth understanding of their expectations in order to effectively communicate the benefits of joining the chain. These types of positions have a very high turnover, yet are a key focus, since they play an essential role in maintaining flawless service.

Plugr organised the targeted collection of Facebook data - as well as that from specialist forums - from four European countries. Detailed recommendations were provided to the chain's HR manager, which formed the basis of a brand employment digital strategy. A Facebook page was successfully set up to reveal life behind the scenes for employees working at the group and the benefits it brings.
